Due to the fact that we had an appointment nearly 2 1/2 hrs. away from our house today; we did school on Sunday. Yup, I’m that mean.

Actually we did a field trip.. then when we got home we put together our lapbook. What did we do you ask? Well, it was Maine Maple Sunday, so we visited Sap Houses, and are doing a Lapbook on Maple Syrup! Which if your interested you can find here.

Friday has arrived!! Yippee!! It has just been a long and draining week. I don’t know exactly why.. but I just need this week to end.

I’m anxious for the weekend to get here this week. So I’m happy this week has gone by fairly weekly. What great things have you been up to this week?

We made it to the middle of the week. Really that was a challenge this week. We are so needing spring to come, and this last snow storm was not what we were expecting. How is everyone else coping with the winter blah’s?

Tuesday already can you believe it?? I think its cause my weekend just flew.

 

Today was a pretty low key day, as I thought I was suppose to go to see my gram in the hospital again.

Monday Craziness!

 

 

Welcome to Monday!!

 

Today I gave the kids a snow day… As I was trying to get some of my work done. Been falling behind a lot lately…. so trying to play the catch up game.

 

Monkey Man did get a bit of History in today though… He did a field trip with his Cub Scout Pack. Where he learned a great deal about a local woman here. Did a tour of her house and came home full of info. He talked my ear off for hours!!!

Friday… oh thank goodness its Friday.

It has been a really long week. Not school wise, but with family.

We have had a few very successful weeks of school. I’m very proud of my kids.

Today was a pretty easy day really… I try to make Friday fun and easy… after all we are all burnt out by Friday right??
